Inglenook Cakes

 

Payment will be strictly via bank transfer and to be made at the time of booking which in turn secures your booking.

 

A photo will be sent to you the evening before collection as your order will be already boxed up to ensure a swift collection.

 

Collection will be from my enclosed and porch at a pre-arranged time/date.

 

Your cakes should be stored and transported away from stronge sources of heat, in the box supplied and not put into the fridge. Generally, sponge cakes will keep for up to 5 days after collection with plastic wrap covering any exposed sponge cake. Sugar paste and fondant is not designed to be refrigerated and should also be stored in a cool dark and dry place.

 

All of the ingredients are of the highest quality and some cakes may contain nuts, traces of nuts or nut oil, gluten, dairy. Our kitchen is not an allergen free environment and it is the customers responsibility to inform any third parties of this.

 

For celebration cakes we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice And will be subject to availability, however last minute orders may be accommodated if possible. Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced by any other cake maker can only be reproduced as our interpretation and not an exact copy. For wedding cakes we require a minimum of 3 months notice however a shorter period may apply – please contact us to check availability.

 

For all bookings if a cancellation is received you will be liable to pay for any special order items and for any work that has been started. If the order is cancelled within 2 weeks of the collection date then all payments made are non-refundable.

 

For wedding cakes if a cancellation is received you will be liable to pay for any special order items and for any work that has been started. If the order is cancelled within the 1 month before the wedding date then all payments made are non-refundable.

 

Cakes are collection only, please contact us for a prearranged date and time. Please stick to your allocated pickup time. Cakes not picked up will be kept for 1 day and we will contact you. If nothing is heard from you we have the right to advertise your cake.

 

When collected the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your cake from the moment the customer has lifted/ handled the cake. We can accept no responsibility for the loss or damage to your cake from this point.

 

In the unlikely event that Inglenook Cakes - Helen Morgan is unable to complete your order due to unforeseeable circumstances we will contact you as soon as possible, and refund any payments made for that specific cake. We will not be responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by the customer.

 

We want you to be 100% happy with your cake however if you are not then please let us know within 24 hours of collection. We take complaints very seriously and will need to investigate and assess the nature of the complaint. Therefore we will need to see the cake or what is left. In the extremely unlikely event of any complaint Inglenook Cakes - Helen Morgan will only be liable to the maximum of a full refund of the order.
